Nagpur University Offline Exams 2022 Withheld: Here Are the Details
The authorities will soon announce the final date for the Nagpur University Offline Exams 2022, earlier scheduled for May 17, 2022.
The Nagpur University (NU) administration affirmed its decision to withhold the offline exams scheduled for May 17, 2022. However, the authorities will still accept admission forms from colleges. Be that as it may, there is no confirmation regarding the dates for the Nagpur University Online Exams 2022. Students will have to check the university’s official website for relevant updates.
Nagpur University Offline Exams 2022: Latest Updates
The NU Board of Examinations & Evaluations (BoEE) Director, Prafulla Sable, addressed the Times Of India (TOI). He had a comprehensive meeting with Subhash Chaudhari, the vice-chancellor, and other administrative heads of the university. However, they have only decided to wait for the government’s decision. Meanwhile, they have kept the Nagpur University Offline Exams 2022 on hold. But have confirmed that the practical offline exams will be held on May 2.
NU officials informed TOI that the decision to organize online exams was taken during their meeting with Uday Samant, the Higher Education Minister. Albeit, the minister, was yet to sign the official document. Also, the minister’s office was yet to issue a circular to all Maharashtra Public Universities (except autonomous universities). The circular will contain exam guidelines that the universities must follow.
The BoEE Director also stated that the process of identifying exam venues, preparing question papers, and other measures were being taken care of. As a result of the decision to cancel offline exams this semester, these question papers will be used during the next semester. Furthermore, offline exams would lead to a delay in publishing results. Examinations for final year students will be held on a priority basis. They can then proceed to apply for jobs or higher education.
