KCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria Released: Check Now

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the KCET 2022 eligibility criteria along with the official brochure. The authorities started the KCET 2022 registration on 18 April. Also, the deadline for KCET 2022 registration is 5 May. Thus, candidates willing to appear for the KCET should consider the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. The authorities will open the KCET 2022 application form correction facility from 7 May and end the process on 10 May. KCET application form correction facility allows the candidates to make the necessary amendments and correct the form details.

KCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of KCET 2022 include mother tongue, domicile, nationality, and educational qualifications.

1. Nationality: Candidates appearing for the KCET must be a citizen of India.
2. Domicile: They must have passed either the SSLC/10th standard or 2nd PUC/12th standard exam from Karnataka.
3. Educational Qualification: Aspirants must clear the 2nd PUC/12th standard or any other equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer/Electronics with (40% for the reserved category)
4. Mother tongue: Their mother tongue must be Kannada, Tulu, and Kodava, and they must be a resident of Kannada for at least 7 years between 1st and 12th standards.
5. Jammu and Kashmir migrants: Candidates whose parents are migrants of Jammu and Kashmir need to produce proof of migration.
