JMI has started accepting application for admission to two certificates and a diploma course under its part-time self-financed courses for candidates who are regular students or employees at the university.
Jamia Millia Islamia has started accepting applications for admission to two certificates and a diploma course under its part-time self-financed courses. The courses offered by the Department of English are Certificate in Translation Proficiency in English, Certificate in Digital Humanities and Diploma in Translation Proficiency in English. These courses are open to only those who are regular students or employees at the university. The last date to apply is Oct 25.
Jamia Millia Islamia Part-Time Self-Financed Courses: Eligibility Criteria
As per the official notification, these are the eligibility criteria for the courses:
Certificate course in translation proficiency in English: The candidate must be proficient in a language other than English, preferably Hindi or Urdu.
Diploma course in translation in proficiency in English: The candidate must have a graduate degree and must be proficient in a language other than English, preferably Hindi or Urdu. A senior secondary, higher secondary or equivalent school certificate with no less than 50 percent marks is also a requirement.
Certificate course in digital humanities: A senior secondary, higher secondary or equivalent school certificate with no less than 50 percent marks
Furthermore, The JMI Multidisciplinary Centre for Advanced Research & Studies (MCARS) has instated a 2-year master's program in M.Sc. Virology. JMI was inviting applications to the course at the official website till Oct 10.
