IIM Raipur Admits More Girls Than Boys: According to a report by Business Standard, IIM Raipur’s media coordinator Vishal Meena has said that around 205 girls got admission to the institute’s flagship management programme against 125 boys. Therefore, the IIM in Chattisgarh has admitted more girls than boys for its Post Graduate Management Programme for the Academic session 2022-24. Of the newly enrolled batch,62% are reportedly girls and 38% are boys.

Ministry of Education’s tweeted saying,”@iimraipur has overturned the gender equation by admitting more girls than boys despite its gender-neutral admission process, a feat worth emulating for other institutes. Many IIMs are also moving in the direction of more gender-balanced classrooms.”

IIM Raipur Admits More Girls Than Boys: Secures Rank 14 in NIRF

Based on various parameters and by considering the top institutions in India, the Ministry of Education had announced the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2022 on 15 Jul, 2022. IIM Raipur which is a sought after institute, has moved up by one spot and  secured rank 14 in the NIRF rankings 2022.The Government of Chhattisgarh has allotted over 200 acres of land for the IIM Raipur campus in Atal Nagar. The new campus of the college is a state-of-the-art one which is presenting the students with a mix of modern architecture along with the culture & heritage of Chhattisgarh.
