Counseling for Arts Colleges in Chennai: Government institutions are to begin the first round of admissions counselling on 5 August at the directorate of collegiate education. Additionally, it has been requested that colleges post the ranking list on their websites by Wednesday.
In the state’s 163 government arts and science institutions, the directorate has received over three lakh applications for one lakh seats. “The website already has the data for U candidates. The principals can start the procedure on day one,” Director M Easwaramurthy stated in a circular.

When the list of registered candidates was reduced, the colleges were also urged to issue offline applications and give admission following the guidelines. The circular also announced the beginning of classes for first-year students.
