Bombay High Court to Hear JEE Main 75% Eligibility Criteria Plea on April 24

JEE Main 75% Eligibility Criteria: Tomorrow, Apr 24, 2023, the Bombay High Court is scheduled to hear a case asking to have the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main eligibility criteria removed. The petitioner has asked the National Testing Agency (NTA) to eliminate the 75% requirement for JEE Main Session 2 eligibility.
The Central Government and National Testing Agency officials will present their plea regarding JEE main 2023 in front of the Bombay High Court today, Apr 13, 2023. Therefore, candidates who wish to appear for the exams must take regular updates about the JEE Main 75% eligibility criteria situation.
Students should remember that the criteria are unfair to JEE aspirants who passed their exams during the COVID-19 pandemic and dropped out to focus on the JEE Main 2023 exam. Furthermore, NTA has been asked to reconsider the JEE Main 75% eligibility criteria for the examination.
Note that NTA pleads that the candidates who have secured 75 per cent marks or are in the top 20 percentile for their Class 12th result must be considered eligible as per the JEE Main 75% eligibility criteria and, therefore, permitted to appear for the examination.
