After releasing the AILET 2022 BA LLB results on July 1, the National Law University (NLU), Delhi, commenced the counselling round. Moreover, NLU released a category-based list of students who qualified for counselling. However, students must note that the AILET BA LLB 2022 counselling applications end on July 4, 11:00 AM. Therefore, students must complete their applications before.
In addition, students must beware that the authorities have only released the BA LLB results. Hence, the counselling has only started for the AILET BA LLB program. Be that as it may, NLU has invited almost 3 times the number of students compared to the available seats. Qualified students who do not apply for the counselling round will not be considered for admissions. AILET BA LLB 2022 Counselling: Application Procedure
Students must check the process described below to complete their applications before 11:00 AM on July 4.
- Firstly, all participants of the AILET 2022 must check the list of invited students (those who qualified after the AILET exam). The list contains the application and roll number for students to identify (Direct link to the PDF – Annexures A & B is mentioned below).
- After having checked their qualification status, they must log in to the official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in, and proceed to register for counselling.
- Upload the required documents in the format prescribed.
- Next, they would have to pay the applicable counselling fee. It is ₹ 20,000 for SC, ST, OBC, PwD, and EWS categories. However, it is ₹ 30,000 for General Category and Kashmiri applicants.
- Then comes the seat allotment round. The NLU will grant seats to students, albeit provisionally, depending on their rank in the entrance exam and category.
- Finally, to confirm their seat, students must pay the remaining fee.

Documents Required for AILET 2022 BA LLB Counselling
Here is a checklist containing all documents that students would require during their counselling round.
- Classes 10 & 12’s Statement of Marks
- Character or School Leaving Certificate
- Category Identification Certificate: Proof of Belonging to the Specified Category
- Fee Payment Acknowledgement Slip
In addition, the authorities will refund the counselling fee to students who do not get admission.
