NIOS Certificate Criteria

NIOS Secondary Course

• Candidates should secure at least 33 percent in the practical and theory exams. 
• Candidates must secure passing marks in all five important subjects, including language subjects. 

NIOS Senior Secondary Course

• Candidates must secure at least 33% marks separately in practicals, theory and subjects having both and in aggregate.
• Candidates must pass five subjects, including one language (BUT not more than two languages)
