The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) creates the Kerala scheme of work for LP, UP, HS, Plus One/Two to provide a comprehensive overview of all the chapters in the syllabus. Kerala's scheme of work comprises subjects like Chemistry, Physics, Biology, History, English, Malayalam, Hindi, Statistics, Home Science, Electronics, Anthology, Arabic, Kannada, Latin, Tamil, Urdu, etc. The first and second years of the Higher Secondary Scheme of Work is now available on the official website. Each year, schemes of work are separated and grouped according to terms.

The Higher Secondary Education Department's most recent work scheme is the basis for all subject matter question papers for the first, second, and model exams. It has previously been announced that the school will create the term test question sheets. Teachers and students can know the lesson plans in each term by taking a quick look at the work plan.

To provide a smooth study path, the SCERT, Kerala, created a work plan that provides a comprehensive overview of the units and chapters in the textbook assigned for each month. The program specifies the hours of study required to finish each unit in the Higher Secondary Plus One/Plus Two Course Book, the study periods for each chapter, etc.
