The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) Class 12 (Karnataka 2nd PUC) Biology exam 2026 is scheduled in a few days. The exam is conducted for 70 marks and lasts for 3 hours. There will be 30 marks practical examination. Students must pass both the theory and practical papers to pass the overall biology exam. - Part A: This section has 20 questions, each to be answered in one word or one sentence. All the questions carry 1 mark each and a total of 10 marks in this unit. So, 20 marks from this unit.
- Part B: In this part, there are 7 questions an each question carries 2 marks. Students must answer any 5 questions from 7, so making it 10 marks from this section.
- Part C: This part consists of 7 questions, and each question carries 3 marks. Students need to answer any 5 questions from this part, so it is 15 marks from this part.
- Part D: In the last part, there will be 10 questions and 5 marks for each question. Out of 10, students must answer any 5. So, a total of 25 marks from this part.
In total, there are 44 questions in the paper, and students are required to answer any 35 questions. All questions are usually compulsory.
