How to Re-Appear for the CAT Exam? CAT stands for Common Admission Test which the IIMs conduct. CAT is considered to be one of the toughest exams in India. This entrance exam opens up the admission opportunity to the most prestigious colleges in India. On average, 2 to 3 lakh students appear for the CAT exam every year, and less than 10% of the appearing candidates clear the exam.

Step 1: Visit the official CAT website iimcat.ac.in

Step 2: Click the 'Register' tab under the 'New Candidate Registration' button on the website.

Step 3: Enter name, date of birth, email ID, mobile phone number, and nationality as details.

Step 4: Click the 'Generate OTP' button. Candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number upon successful registration.

Step 5: Verify CAT registration 2025 by entering the OTP in the given box on the page. After successful registration, students will receive their CAT registration number and password.
