List of UGC Fake Universities in India 2023

The fake universities list by UGC has been released so that aspirants are not tricked by these self-styled universities into joining them. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has released this list containing 24 fake universities along with their location.

These universities are not entitled to confer a degree on the students and are considered to be invalid. It is the UGC’s responsibility to ensure that universities across the country are following the quality standards, it has compiled this list so that students can be aware of them.

Innocent people and students often get trapped by Fake Universities and Institutions’ scams. Fake institutions attract innocent students using misleading and false promises.

Due to a lack of information and research about many universities, most such students are left with bogus degrees and no way to get any remuneration. Students should learn how to identify universities that are fake and avoid them.

• Students can also look up the degrees of these institutes to see whether they have the identification features that all university degrees must have as a matter of course.
