Note: NRIs, holders of PIO or OCI cards that are issued by the Government of India who have not taken the SRMJEEE (UG) must apply under the International student category only.

• The candidates must be 16 years and 6 months old on the 31st of July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held.

Marks and Qualifications:

• The candidate must have secured a minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry /Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Engineering Graphics.
• The candidate must have passed 10+2 or is appearing in the 10+2 examination in the current academic year with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects, Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Engineering Graphics as major subjects in regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.
• Students who did not have Mathematics as one of their major subjects in +2 must opt for an additional four-credit course in Mathematics during their first year of B.Tech.

Steps to Get Direct Admission in SRM University 2024

The process to get direct admission in SRM University is quite simple. However, students with a bright educational background have higher chances of getting admission into the university. Here’s how students can get SRM University admission 2024 directly:

Step 1: The first step is to fill out the SRM University application form which is available on the university’s official website

Step 2: Secondly, register for the SRM University application forms.

Step 3: Next, the candidates are required to select the courses for which the SRM University is sought.

Step 4: On filling out the SRM University application form, the candidates must keep all the documents in hand.

Step 5: Further, an application number will be generated after which the application form has to be successfully submitted with a scanned copy of your signature, coloured photograph, class X mark sheet & XII mark sheet (size not more than 500 kb).

Step 6: The candidates can also submit their SRM University application form online with Demand Drafts.

Step 7: Candidates can fill out the application form online or download it and mail it to the university with a DD for Rs.1100/- made in the name of SRMIST. This must be delivered to the university by the deadline.

Step 8: On the reverse of the DD, candidates should write their name and address and mail it to their chosen campus address.

Step 9: Only upon receiving the DD will the application be processed.
