Uttarakhand CM Initiates Smart Classroom Project in Govt Schools

Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, has inaugurated the smart classroom project for government schools across the state. The Chief Minister launched the Sampark FLN TV and Sampark Science TV in government school classrooms to promote interactive learning. Through the effective application of contemporary technology, the major goal of this programme is to support high-quality, open-access education throughout the state. Along with free entertainment, Sampark Foundation will offer these plug-and-play devices for no cost.

Sampark Smartshala, this initiative aims to advance education in the region by using modern technology. Nearly 11,000 schools in the state would be benefitted from this initiative. Mr. Dhami stated that the project is very important for sons and daughters living in rural regions of the state. "In the current technological era, it is essential to expand education to rural locations through modern technological tools. Sampark Smartshala is a critical approach in this direction, according to Mr. Rawat.

Importance of Smart Classrooms

Classrooms equipped with technological equipment are a revolutionary step towards efficient teaching and learning. Learning effectiveness can be greatly improved through the use of technologies such as computers/laptops, projectors, screens, amplifiers/speakers, podiums, DVD/VCD players, etc. There are several advantages of smart classrooms.
