Odisha Board 10th Exams Afternoon Shift Cancelled Due to Heatwave: Check Revised Schedule
BSE cancels the afternoon shift of the Odisha Board 10th Exams for Madhyama exams and the State Open School Certificate Examination.
The ongoing heatwave has been making lives difficult for people across the nation. The BSE has canceled the Odisha Board 10th Exams, afternoon shift. The board will not have any afternoon shifts for the Odisha Madhyama exams and the State Open School Certificate Examination (SOSCE).
Odisha Board 10th Exams 2022: Revised Schedule
The authorities have made the following changes for the SOSCE and Madhyama exams. Meanwhile, there has been no change in the date or timing for High School Certificate exams. These will be held from April 29 to May 6 between 8 am & 10 am.

PTI (Press Trust of India) reported recently that the temperature at Bhubaneshwar, Odisha’s capital city, recently went as high as 43.3 degrees Celsius. Many other districts, too, have encountered an increased temperature. Generally, the maximum temperature has increased by 1-3 degrees Celsius.
The Odisha government has recently ordered the closing of schools and colleges until April 30. Additionally, actions have been taken in states like West Bengal, Bihar & Telangana.
