NIFT to Re-Conduct GAT 2023 for Students Who Faced Glitches at Exam Centres: Revised Dates Out Soon

GAT 2023: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will re-conduct the GAT 2023 exam. The institute has not yet declared a particular date till now for the NIFT GATE exam 2023.

The NIFT GAT re-exam 2023 will be conducted for candidates who faced glitches during the exam at the MBC Thane-Mumbai, Vidhan Public School- Ghaziabad, MP English school- Varanasi and P T Salagram- Noida centres.

The re-scheduled GAT 2023 exam dates will be announced soon on the official website of NIFT- niftadmissions.in.

NIFT on its official website stated, "Candidates who faced issues during the NIFT GAT 2023 examination at centres: MBC Thane-Mumbai, Vidhan Public School- Ghaziabad, MP English school - Varanasi and P T Salagram - Noida will be given a chance to retake their GAT examination".

NIFT further stated "Details of time/venue will be communicated separately. their CAT exam however will get conducted as per the original schedule of 05.02.2023 at the same centre." 

General Ability Test, GAT 2023 is a common exam for candidates seeking to get admission to all programmes (BTech, MFTech, MFM, BDes, MDes) of NIFT.

The examination for NIFT 2023 has two sections- The Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT). The GAT 2023 exam is conducted for two hours for BDes and MDes courses and three hours for BTech, MFTech and MFM courses.
