JoSAA Counselling 2022 for 114 Technical Institutes to Start From Sep 12

JoSAA Counseling 2022: Joint Seat Allocation Authority, JoSAA Counseling 2022 for admission to IITs, NITs and other technical institutions will tentatively start from September 12, 2022. 

The counselling will begin for both JEE Mains and JEE Advanced candidates. The complete counselling schedule will be released on JoSAA-  josaa.nic.in.

The candidates not taking part in JEE Advanced must wait until the JEE Advanced examination gets over to attend the counselling.  

Over 114 institutes will be participating in the JoSAA Counselling 2022. Those 114 Institutes include 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 33 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). 

JoSAA counselling 2021 started on September 15, 2021, and ended on November 24, 2021, with the final round for withdrawal of seats. There will be 6 rounds of seat allotment for the IITs. 

JoSAA counselling schedule will be released soon after the JEE Advanced 2022 exam. JEE Advanced will be held on August 28, 2022. 

Meanwhile, candidates who are not taking part in JEE Advanced 2022 and are planning to participate in the JoSAA counselling based on their JEE Mains score can go through the documents and certificates they need.
