The IISERAT 2022 application process will commence on April 25, 2022, as per the institute’s official website iiseradmission.in. Students can check the eligibility criteria as well as other details below in the article. The authorities will conduct the exam on July 3. Students can submit their applications online between April 25 and May 20.

IISERAT stands for Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Admission Test. The exam will facilitate admissions to the Pune-based institute’s various degrees as well as dual-degree programmes. These programmes are located in places such as Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati. IISERs offer courses in different subjects, such as Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Earth & Climate Sciences, Economic Sciences, etc.

IISERAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The institute has modified the eligibility criteria for BS-MS dual degree for the academic year 2021-22. Further information is given below:

IISER Pune Courses and Eligibility Criteria

Course	Eligibility Criteria
BS and MS Dual Degree	Must have passed 12th with science stream from a recognized board: with at least 60% marks for general students, else with at least 55% marks for SC/ST students
Ph.D. Chemistry Integrated	Must have scored in B.Sc. (General / B.Sc. majoring in Chemistry, Physics & Biology): at least 60% marks or equivalent C.G.P.A. on a 10-point scale for general students. Or at least 55% marks or equivalent C.G.P.A. on a 10-point scale for SC/ST/PD candidates. Candidates with a JAM (Chemistry) rank of 800 or lesser (960 or lesser for reserved category candidates) can apply for the Integrated Ph.D. Chemistry programme.
Ph.D. Mathematics Integrated	Must have scored in B.Sc. (any specialisation) or B.Tech: at least 60% marks or equivalent C.G.P.A. on a 10-point scale for general students. at least 55% marks or equivalent C.G.P.A. on a 10-point scale for SC/ST/PD candidates. Final year students with the above courses as well as scores also eligible for this programme Candidates will be shortlisted for interviews based upon their ranking in: JAM in M.A. or MS only (ranks up to 500 for unreserved categories and ranks up to 600 for reserved categories) OR NBHM
Ph.D.	At least 60% marks in aggregate in master’s degree or equivalent in the relative subject or an equivalent C.G.P.A. on a 10-point scale (55% or an equivalent C.G.P.A. in aggregate for SC/ST + qualified national level examination such as CSIR-UGC NET/GATE/JEST/NBHM/JGEEBILS (school-specific).

Marking Scheme

The Admissions Committee has announced some changes in the marking scheme. Now, while each correct answer will get 3 marks, each incorrect answer will get -0.75 marks. Meanwhile, each unanswered question will score 0 marks.
