GATE 2023 Begins at 9:30 AM Today: Check Subject-Wise Shift Timings, Exam Instructions

GATE 2023: The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK), will start conducting the GATE Exam 2023 today, Feb 4. The exam for the CS paper will be conducted from 9:30 AM today. Candidates must appear at the exam centre with the GAT admit card 2023 that was released earlier and a valid ID proof.
The exam is scheduled for the various subject papers on Feb 4, 5, 11 and 12. Two exam sessions will be conducted on each of the days - the forenoon shift from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the afternoon shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

GATE 2023 Exam Instructions
Here are some important GATE 2023 Exam Instructions:
- Candidates must try to reach the exam hall atleast 90 minutes before the commencement of the exam. The entry to the exam hall will be closed 30 minutes after the exam starts.
- They must bring a printout of the admit card along with a valid photo ID card. The photo on the printout should be clear, and the details on the admit card should match the details on the id card.
- Candidates should not carry prohibited items like mobile phones, smart watches, calculators and other electronic devices into the exam hall.
- There will be a virtual scientific calculator available to candidates to perform calculations.
