CBSE Class 10 Painting Question Paper 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) commenced the CBSE board exams 2023 for classes 10 and 12 today. The first subject for the class 10 students was Painting, the exam for which was conducted from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Candidates can access the CBSE Class 10 Painting Question Paper 2023 here.

The CBSE 10th Painting Question Paper 2023 consists of 3 sections - A, B and C. Section A contain 8 MCQ-type questions, each carrying 1 mark. Section B consists of 6 short answer type questions, out of which candidates have to attempt all the questions. Candidates must answer the question in 50-100 words, and each question in section B carries 2 marks. As for section 3, there are 3 long answer-type questions, out of which candidates must attempt 2. The questions must be answered with 100-200 words, and each question will carry 6 marks. 

Further, the CBSE Class 10 syllabus consists of 3 units - Fundamentals of Visual Arts, Methods and Materials of Painting and Story of Indian Art. Each unit gets equal weightage in the exam, with questions worth 10 marks appearing in the CBSE 10th Painting Question Paper 2023.
