For the General category, the qualifying percentage is 60% or higher. On the other hand, for the Backward classes, it is 50% or higher; for the SC/ST/Differently Abled, it is 40% or higher. Candidates for the Hearing Impaired category must have at least 75% disabling hearing impairment.
