NLSIU Application Form: The Centre for Child and the Law (CCL), National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore, has started applications for Research Associate (full-time/part-time) and Research Assistant (full-time/part-time) posts. Thus, interested candidates can write to ccl@nls.ac.in and recruitment@nls.ac.in with an updated CV and a Statement of Purpose on or before 15 August 2022 for the positions of their choice.
Research Associate (full-time/part-time): Applicants have to carry out desk research which comprises of collation of provisions under the Act, corresponding rules and orders in 4 identified states; prepare, revise and finalise the tools for data collection; provide orientation to field investigators; coordinate the data collection efforts with the field investigators; verify the collected data, data analysis, documentation and write reports.
Research Assistant (full-time/part-time): Candidates’ job is to support the Research Associate in carrying out desk research. They must have a good understanding of macro-level issues related to food security, good interpersonal skills, the experience of having worked in a multi-disciplinary team/academic institutions/government and be comfortable using all MS office applications and the internet.

Research Associate (full-time/part-time): The applicant must have a Postgraduate in a social science discipline NET/M.Phil./Ph.D with a minimum of 55% marks.
Research Assistant (full-time/part-time): The aspirants must have a Ph.D./M.Phil./Postgraduate in a social science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
For both these posts, applicants must have at least 2 years of relevant experience in research in social science. Also, a sound academic record and published work in journals of repute.
