NIFT 2023: Registration Facility Expected to Open in the First Week of December 2022

NIFT 2023 Registration: The National Institute of Fashion Technology, one of India’s premier institutes, is to begin its application process in December 2022. Moreover, sources indicate that all details, including the application form, will be available on niftadmissions.in very soon. Consequently, students must appear for exams in the first week of February. The exam is for undergraduate and postgraduate design courses at NIFT.
The criterion for B.Des programs is a qualification in 10+2 from a recognized institute. However, the applicant must be 24 years of age as of August 1, 2023. If candidates belong to SC/ST/PwD categories, they get a relaxation gap of 5 years.
Although, interested candidates must note that having Physics and Mathematics in 10+2 is a mandatory criterion for application to B.F.Tech for NIFT 2023 Registration.
Steps to Apply for NIFT 2023 Registration
Candidates seeking admission into courses at NIFT can follow these simple steps to fill out the NIFT 2023 Application Form.
- Firstly, register yourself on niftadmissions.in.
- Once registered, move on to filling in your application details like academic, personal and contact credentials.
- Next, upload your documents, photograph and signature as per requirement.
- Lastly, pay the exam fee of INR 3000 online. In contrast, reserved category candidates need to pay INR 1500.

Exam Format
In summation, we will learn about the two stages in which NIFT conducts its examination.
- Written Exam – Applicants of NIFT 2023 Registration must first appear for a General Ability Test (GAT). In addition, to GAT, students applying for B.Des and M.Des need to take a Creative Ability Test (CAT).
- Situation Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview – The candidates will qualify for the next rounds depending on their scores for GAT and CAT. B.Des candidates also need to take a situation test. In comparison, postgraduate applicants must take the GD and Personal Interview. For B.F.Tech candidates, only the GAT scores are essential. They do not need to appear for other rounds post-written examination.
The final selection will be based on both rounds’ overall performance.
