NEET SS Counselling 2022: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) choice-filling process for NEET SS Counselling 2022 for Round 1 begins tomorrow, Dec 5, 2022, on behalf of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). Candidates can complete their choice filling for the Round 1 counselling by visiting the official website mcc.nic until Dec 7, 2022.
On Dec 3, MCC published the updated NEET SS counselling schedule for 2022. It advised candidates that choice-filling for Round 1 had begun and a new counselling schedule had been published considering the Supreme Court's directives regarding Tamil Nadu in-service candidates.
The updated schedule states that the round 1 NEET SS seat allocation results will be made public on Dec 10, 2022. Candidates who received a seat may report to institutions between Dec 11 and Dec 16.
The state of Tamil Nadu has been given a 15-day window by the Supreme Court judgment to fill the reserved seats. The form must report the vacant seats in the in-service category to the Union of India.
The Union of India will be able to fill these positions based on the All India Merit List. On Nov 22, MCC opened registration for the first round of NEET SS Counselling 2022.
However, the academic year 2022–2023 seat allocation for super specialty courses offered by the government medical colleges in Tamil Nadu that infringed upon the 50% of seats set out for in-service applicants was delayed.
