JoSAA Counselling 2022: As per the official schedule, Round 2 of JoSAA 2022 Counselling will begin on 28 September. The JoSAA Round 2 Counselling 2022 Seat allotment result will be published. The seat allotment will be based on the availability of seats and the choices filled in by the candidates during the choice-filling phase. The JoSAA Counselling 2022 Round 1 will close on 27 September. Candidates who chose to slide or float in Round 1 of the counselling will appear in Round 2.

Important Instructions for JoSAA Counselling 2022 Round 2
In JoSAA Counselling 2022 Round 2, candidates will have the choice to accept, slide or float the allotted seat. If they are satisfied with the seat allotted to them, they may confirm the seat pay the seat acceptance fees and move on to the online reporting phase and complete the admission process by 5 PM on 1 October. Such candidates will not be considered for the following rounds of counselling.
If the candidate chooses to float the allotted seat, they will have to pay the seat acceptance fees. Further, they will have to wait for the results in the subsequent rounds to see if they are allotted a seat of higher preference. If the candidate slides the seat allotted to them, they will be directly transferred to the next round of counselling.
Given below are some important instructions that candidates must note when participating in round 2 of JoSAA Counselling 2022:
- Candidates who were shortlisted in the Round 1 of the counselling and chose to float the allotted seat are not required to pay the seat acceptance fees again. The fees will also be considered as the seat acceptance fees for round 2.
- Candidates who chose to slide in round 1 and have been allotted a seat in round 2 may accept the seat, pay the seat acceptance fees and complete the admission process.
- Candidate must respond to JoSAA Round 2 Seat allotment by 5 PM on 2 October. Failing to do so, candidates will not be considered for the subsequent rounds.
