The Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) answer key has been released on 24 March 2022. Authorities have also released the response sheets of the candidates. Thus, the students who appeared in the entrance exam must check and download the answer keys and response sheets from the official website. Previously, the JEST exam was held on 13 March 2022. The result dates are yet to be announced by the authorities.
Steps to Download JEST Answer Key
Following are the steps through which candidates can download the answer key:
- Visit the official website – jest.org.in
- Now enter your email ID/Username and password in the fields given on the homepage. The answer key will be displayed on the screen in PDF format.
- Next, you will be logged in to the candidate portal.
- Finally, save and download the answer key for future reference.
Furthermore, if candidates are not satisfied with the JEST 2022 answer key, they can raise objections with the proof of correct answer.
About the Exam
Science and Engineering Research Body (SERB) conducts the Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) exam once every year. The exam is conducted in offline pen-paper based mode. Furthermore, the exam is organized to facilitate admission of students into PhD and integrated PhD courses in Physics, Theoretical Computer Science, Neuroscience, and Computation Biology.
The question paper has objective type questions. Furthermore, it is divided into sections A, B, and C, consisting of 15, 10, and 25 questions, respectively. Additionally, candidates must also know about the marking scheme of the entrance exam. Candidates are awarded 3 marks for every correct answer in Sections A and B and 1 mark in the C section. 1 and 1/3rd marks are deducted from sections A and C, respectively, for every wrong answer. Meanwhile, there is no provision of negative marking in Section B.
