JEE Main 75% Eligibility Criteria 2023: Bombay High Court to Give Verdict Today
The Bombay High Court will hear the plea on JEE Main 75% eligibility criteria 2023 today, May 3. The matter has been listed at item number 38.
JEE Main 75% Eligibility Criteria 2023: According to the bench of acting Chief Justice S V Gangapurwala and Justice S V Marne, the Bombay High Court will give its verdict on JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria today, May 3. The verdict will be announced on whether a relaxation can be granted on JEE Main 75% eligibility criteria 2023.
JEE Main 2023 aspirants filed the PIL because as per the National Testing Agency (NTA), apart from the All-India rank of the candidate in the National entrance test for engineering admissions, the JEE Main aspirants are required to score 75% and above in Class 12 or figured among the top 20 percentile candidates of the respective board in order to become eligible for admission.
Alongside, the National Testing Agency (NTA) filed an affidavit and mentioned the eligibility criteria of a minimum of 75% in boards for admission to NITs, IIITs, CFTIs/GFTIs is a sound and well-considered decision.
Earlier, the Bombay High Court last heard the matter regarding the JEE Main 75% eligibility criteria 2023 on Apr 6 and asked the Government to submit some documents regarding the 75% JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria since when it is applicable and the top 20 percentile how it's going to help if different states have different top 20 percentile.
If the Bombay High Court gives the verdict in favour of the JEE Main 2023 aspirants, it will help the aspirants as they will be getting admission on the basis of JEE Main scores only.
