Candidates can apply for JAM 2023 only through the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS) available as the “Candidate Portal” button on the website. The JAM application form 2023 process started on Sep 7, 2022. JAM 2023 exam will be held on Feb 12, 2023.

- Visit the official website of JAM- jam.iitg.ac.in
- Click on the 'Candidate Portal' on the homepage.
- A new window will appear.
- Login with the credentials such as name, a valid e-mail address, and an active mobile number.
- The candidate’s Enrolment ID and OTP will be sent to the e-mail address and mobile number provided by the candidate.
- The candidate must use this Enrolment ID or e-mail address along with the password for submitting the JAM 2023 application form.
- Pay the application fee through any of the electronic payment modes.
- Candidates are advised to keep the Enrolment ID and the password safe and confidential.

Important points that candidates applying for JAM 2023 must remember are mentioned below.
- A candidate should submit only one application form even if the candidate wants to appear for two Test Papers. Multiple applications submitted by a candidate are liable for rejection. Hence, DO NOT submit multiple application forms.
- Candidates are strictly advised to fill out the JAM 2023 application form by themselves. If someone else is filling out the application on behalf of the candidate, the candidate must ensure that the data submitted are correct.
- Candidates must provide an e-mail address that they use frequently, as all communication to the candidate for JAM 2023 will be sent to this e-mail address.
- Candidates must not use others' email addresses and only one candidate can be registered with one email address.
- Likewise, candidates should provide their personal mobile numbers and are advised to use the same number until the results are declared because most of the communication may also be sent via SMS.
