ITICAT Counselling 2022: Industrial Training Institute Competitive Admission Test (ITICAT), Bihar will be winding up their registration process today. The examination is conducted for candidates seeking admission to various ITI courses of Technical and Non-Technical field at private or Government colleges across Bihar. The exam was conducted on 12th June 2022 and the results were declared on 13th July 2022. Further, The Registration process is open from 10th August 2022 and will be open till today i.e. 16 August 2022.
Candidates who have successfully cleared the exam and now seeking to take admission can register for the ITICAT counselling process online.
The colleges will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of various factors such as availability of seats, availability of preferred ITI trade in preferred college etc.

ITICAT 2022 Counselling: Procedure for counselling 2022
ITICAT Counselling 2022 is being conducted through online mode. No physical counselling is being done. The procedure to register and take part in ITICAT 2022 counselling, candidates need to check below for procedural steps:
Online Registration
- Visit the official website of BCECE Board
- Click on “Online Counselling Portal of ITICAT 2022” available on the homepage
- Click on the link for Registration and choice filling for Bihar ITICAT Counselling
- The link will redirect you to the new window of online counselling system
- Finally, Register by entering all the details
Application Fee payment
After successfully registering on the official website, candidates need to pay application fee. The authority will notify the candidates about the mode of payment of counselling soon.
Choice Filling
- After the application fee payment, candidates need to visit official website again
- Login with the credentials used while registering
- Open the ITICAT Counselling 2022 application and submit the preferred choices
- Finally, Lock the choices to complete the choice filling step of admission counselling process
Seat Allotment
The seat is allotted on the basis of various factors such as availability of vacant seats, availability of preferred ITI trade in preferred college,etc. The seat allotment result for first-round counselling will be available on the official website. After seat allotment, they will issue an allotment letter to download from the official website by using the login details.
Reporting to allotted ITI
Finally, After seat allotment, candidates need to report to the allotted ITI on specified date and time. They must carry their allotment letter, ITICAT admit card, bank challan, and all the original documents as instructed by the council to the allotted institute.
