IBPS Clerk 2022 Prelims Exam Starts Tomorrow: Check Exam Guidelines, Shift Timings
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct the IBPS Clerk Prelims 2022 from tomorrow on 3rd September & 4th September 2022.
IBPS Clerk 2022 Prelims Exam: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct the IBPS Clerk 2022 Prelims exam on September 3, 2022 and September 4, 2022.
Earlier the IBPS Clerk 2022 Prelims exam was scheduled to be conducted on Aug 28, 2022, now the dates have been postponed by the exam authority due to the prelims exam dates clashing with JEE advance exam.
The prelims exam is conducted for the recruitment of personnel for clerical cadre posts in 11 participating Banks across India.
IBPS Clerk 2022 exam will be conducted in 2 phases- Online Preliminary and Online Main.
Candidates who clear Online Preliminary Examination and are shortlisted will have to appear for Online Main Examination October 8, 2022. Candidates who clear the main examination and are sufficiently high in merit will be shortlisted for provisional allotment to one of the Participating Banks.

IBPS Clerk 2022: Exam Guidelines
Follow the exam guidelines for IBPS Clerk preims 2022, below:
- Visit the IBPS Clerk exam centre one day before the exam to confirm the location.
- Candidates must note down the date, time, and address of the exam centre given in the IBPS Clerk admit card.
- Candidates coming late for the exam will not be allowed
- Usage of calculators, books, notebooks, cellphones, or any electronic device is not allowed inside the exam hall.
- Along with the admit card, candidates must bring one original photo-identity proof such as PAN Card/Passport/Permanent Driving License/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook/Photo Identity proof with photograph.
- Do not leave the exam hall till the completion of the test.
- Candidates must bring a ballpoint pen and ink stamp pad for affixing a thumb impression on the admit card.
- Stationery items such as bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner. Any communication device such as bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band, etc.
- Other items such as goggles, handbags, hairpin, hair band, belt, cap, wristwatch, camera, metallic item, etc. are not allowed.
- Eatable item is not allowed.
- Avoid wearing ornaments such as rings, earrings, nose-pin, chains/necklaces, pendants, badges, brooch, etc
