CBSE Term 1 & 2 Exams Live Updates: Class 12 Term 1 Results Declared

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the CBSE term 1 class 10 results on the website. Hence, students can visit the official website to check the results. However, CBSE is yet to release the term 1 results for class 12.

As per the latest notification, CBSE term 2 exams for the 10 and 12 shall begin from 26 April 2022. The Board has also issued instructions to be followed during exams, including carrying sanitisers, social distancing, covid-19 safety measures, etc. “CBSE wishes good luck to all students appearing in Class 10 and 12 term-2 exams, 2022,” the Board said.

Authorities changed the CBSE board exam pattern this year, and the academic session was divided into two semesters. Therefore, the CBSE Term 1 exam was held in November-December, while the second phase will be conducted in March-April.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the CBSE Class 10 term 2 board exam 2021-22 from 26 April to 24 May 2022. Students can download CBSE Class 10 term 2 date sheet PDF from the official website, cbse.gov.in. The reduced syllabus of CBSE term 2 Class 10 for all the language subjects, main subjects and elective subjects are also available at cbseacademic.nic.in. The CBSE Class 10 term 2 board exam for the major subjects will begin with English Language and Literature on 27 April.

Revaluation Application Process Begins

The Board has now opened the CBSE 10th and 12th revaluation window for the students. Soon after the CBSE class 12 Term 1 results, 2022 were declared, students raised objections with their scores. So, the Online Dispute Redressal Mechanism for the Term 1 exams has been made available with immediate effect. Students can send in their disputes to the schools and the schools can send the combined disputes to the board.

CBSE term 1 Class 10, 12 Dispute Redressal until 31 March

The CBSE has opened an online dispute redressal mechanism for any disputes regarding the CBSE term 1 Class 10, 12 exam results 2021-22, cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in. The CBSE board said that students could submit their grievances by 31 March, adding that the disputes will be settled only after the CBSE term 2 results exams.

The Board said that no performance was shared for students who missed their CBSE Class 12 Term-I exams due to COVID or their participation in any national or international exam or sports event. Their final performance will be assessed based on their performance in Term-II examinations.

Class 10 Term 1 Results Revised

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revised the CBSE term 1 class 10 results for Odia question papers. An expert committee set by the Board has revised the results of 28130 students. An official notification from the Board said, “The Committee submitted its report at 6 PM on March 14, 2022, and based on the report of the expert committee, the CBSE has evaluated the OMRs of Odia Class 10 with the correct answer key approved by the expert committee. The revised students’ performance has been since sent to the concerned schools for onward information of the students. A total of 28310 students have benefitted due to this revision.”

CBSE Class 10 Results: 50% Weightage not Fixed for Term 1

The board had earlier released a notice according to which CBSE would give 50% weightage to both term 1 and term 2 exam results. However, now the board says, “To address the difficulty level between the two sets of Question Papers in Term-I examinations, needful action will be taken at the time of preparation of the final result. The weightage of Term-I and Term-II will be decided at the time of declaration of Term-II result, and accordingly, the final performance will be calculated.”
