CBSE Term 1 Results Live Updates: Class 12 Term 1 Results Declared

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the class 12 term 1 examination result on Saturday, 19 March 2022. This year, the term 1 result was released in offline mode. Students can send their disputes against the marks obtained in the class 12 term 1 exam by 31 March.

As per the latest notification, CBSE term 2 exams for the 10th and 12th shall begin from 26 April 2022. Authorities changed the CBSE board exam pattern this year, and the academic session was divided into two semesters. Therefore, the CBSE term 1 exam was held in November-December, while the second phase will be conducted in March-April.

The Board has now opened the CBSE 10th and 12th revaluation window for the students. Soon after the CBSE class 12 Term 1 results, 2022 were declared, students raised objections with their scores. So, the Online Dispute Redressal Mechanism for the Term 1 exams has been made available with immediate effect. Students can send in their disputes to the schools and the schools can send the combined disputes to the board.

The CBSE has opened an online dispute redressal mechanism for any disputes regarding the CBSE term 1 Class 10, 12 exam results 2021-22, cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in. The CBSE board said that students could submit their grievances by 31 March, adding that the disputes will be settled only after the CBSE term 2 results exams.

CBSE Class 10, 12 terms 1 and 2 Results Weightage Criteria

As per the notice issued by the Board during the CBSE term 1 result date, the weightage of CBSE term 1 and 2 will be decided at the time of declaration of the CBSE term 2 results for both class 12 and 10. However, the CBSE Board has not yet announced how much weightage will be allocated for both terms. Meanwhile, students have been demanding clarity on the weightage of CBSE term 1 results. The Board said that no performance was shared for students who missed their CBSE Class 12 Term-I exams due to COVID or their participation in any national or international exam or sports event. Their final performance will be assessed based on their performance in Term-II examinations.

Results not Available on Digilocker

CBSE term 1 result for class 12 has not been released on the CBSE official website, cbseresults.nic.in, DigiLocker or UMANG application. Like CBSE 10th term 1 results, the Board has sent the CBSE 12th mark sheet to the schools. Students can get their CBSE marksheets in final term 2 results in Digilocker.

Class 10 Term 1 Results Revised

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revised the CBSE term 1 class 10 results for Odia question papers. An expert committee set by the Board has revised the results of 28130 students. An official notification from the Board said, “The Committee submitted its report at 6 PM on March 14, 2022, and based on the report of the expert committee, the CBSE has evaluated the OMRs of Odia Class 10 with the correct answer key approved by the expert committee. The revised students’ performance has been since sent to the concerned schools for onward information of the students. A total of 28310 students have benefitted due to this revision.”

CBSE Class 10 Results: 50% Weightage not Fixed for Term 1

The board had earlier released a notice according to which CBSE would give 50% weightage to both term 1 and term 2 exam results. However, now the board says, “To address the difficulty level between the two sets of Question Papers in Term-I examinations, needful action will be taken at the time of preparation of the final result. The weightage of Term-I and Term-II will be decided at the time of declaration of Term-II result, and accordingly, the final performance will be calculated.”
