Registration started for JEE Main 2018

The registrations of JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Main 2018 is open on the official website. The information bulletin for JEE Main 2018 was released on 24^th November by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). In the official notification, the eligibility criteria have been explained thoroughly. It contains information regarding the age limit, number of attempts and educational qualification.

Instructions for candidates before applying online for JEE Main 2018:

• This year Aadhaar Card has been made compulsory for JEE Main 2018 registration.
• The number of attempts allowed for JEE Main is three this year but for JEE Advanced the number is two.
• It is advised to fill the online application form from a desktop or a laptop, avoid filling the form on mobile devices or i-pads.
• Candidates are requested to upload their pictures and signatures in a proper format on the application form.

The size and specification of picture and signatures are given below:

General Guidelines:

The candidates are advised to be very careful while filling the details. They will be allowed to make minor corrections but there is no guarantee CBSE will open an edit window.

The personal information of the candidate cannot be changed once registered. Candidature registered more than once on the same ID will be rejected.

The aspirants are also advised to carefully go through the list of centers available. Pen and paper mode is not available in all centers. The Paper II of JEE Main 2018 for admission to B.Arch courses would be conducted only in pen and paper mode in the afternoon of April 8, 2018.  All aspirants are requested to carefully go through the center list before filling the options.
