Combination of Distance and On-Campus Learning
The upGrad distance learning program has a unique learning model which is a combination of online learning and studying on-campus at the university in the study destination.
1st year, Online
For the first year, students will be able to do the course online, from the comfort of their homes. They will have to do a specialized online course with a university in India, completing which, they will be eligible to complete the program at the physical campus of the foreign university. Though the course is online for the first year, students will earn the required credits of the full-time program.
2nd year, On-campus
Once students complete their first year and earn the requisite credits, they will be eligible to travel to a foreign university and study on-campus for the second year. With the diploma program earned as a result of online learning with the affiliated Indian university, students will directly get admissions into the second year of the program they have opted for. In this case, we are talking about MS courses at German universities, which are for a period of two years, so the second year will be the final year for the student.
