K.R. Mangalam University collaborates with the Council for Teacher Education Foundation (CTEF) Delhi NCR Chapter on 14 July 2022 for academic exchange and cooperation in Education, Research, and Training.
Council for Teacher Education Foundation Delhi NCR Chapter
The Council for Teacher Education (CTE) was established in 1985 by a group of committed educators headed by Dr. Gulab Chaurasia after recognising the need and opportunity to professionalize teacher education. It is a registered body under the M.P.Society’s Registration Act. In 1973 the council had more than 8000 members and organized an annual conference to provide a forum for exchanging ideas and experiences. The main objective of CTE is to strengthen teacher preparation programs. CTEF has established 23 state chapters and 03 chapters at the international level to decentralize its work and reach the grassroots level.
KRMU and CTEF have agreed to collaborate to assist teachers, and some of the critical areas to take into consideration are:
- KRMU and CTEF will collaborate for knowledge development programmes, training, and certification in short-term courses.
- CTEF will organise seminars, symposiums, and other professional development activities for faculty and students.
- CTEF will help to develop teaching skills and mould the professional mindset of the teachers.
- Both parties will exchange academic materials and publications.
- Creating a learning environment for educators and how they can inspire competent educators.
