The GSET exam is conducted by the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara.
Until 1989, UGC was responsible for conducting a National Eligibility Test (NET) to select potential candidates for Assistant Professor recruitment across India. After that, UGC asked the state governments and Union Territories to conduct their own eligibility tests.

What is the GSET Eligibility Criteria 2025?
