- Age Limit: Based on the current AGRICET notification, your minimum age should be 17 years by December 31, 2025. The authority has set an upper age limit for all. - Educational Qualification: Horticulture and Forestry, and other allied agriculture courses are only for those students who have studied 2 2-year Diploma course in Agriculture / Seed Technology / Organic Farming from Acharya NG Ranga Agriculture University (ANGRAU).
2. Entrance Exam
In the AGRICET entrance exam, you will be asked to answer 120 questions within 1 hour and 30 minutes duration. The questions will be in MCQ format, with each question carrying 1 mark without any negative marking. AGRICET is a computer-based test where you can choose to write your test in either English or Telugu.
3. Counselling
Once the entrance is over, the result will be published on the official website- angrau.ac.in. You will be eligible for ranking if your score is 25% of the total marks (30 marks out of 120). The counselling will be held after the release of the merit list, and the authority will release the details on University’s official website. You must take part in counselling to secure your seat in the college you desire and pay the required fee to complete the admission process.
4. Document verification
Verifying the documents is an important step, without which admission will not be considered complete. While you fill out the application form, make sure you upload the required documents in the right format.
