The NTA will administer the CMAT exam in computer-based format at several test centres throughout India. The list of CMAT exam centres, as well as the exam brochure and application form, will be issued. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will assign CMAT 2026 exam centres to candidates in the city of their first preference, as specified in the CMAT 2026 application. How to Pick the Most Suitable CMAT Test Centre Location
You can choose up to four cities to take the CMAT exam. Check out the steps below for selecting CMAT test cities:
- Register for CMAT 2026 at the official website.
- Log on with your registration ID and password to fill out the application form.
- Fill out the necessary details and go to the test city section.
- Choose four cities from the list in the order of preference, one through four.
- Make fee payment and submit the CMAT 2026 form.
Important Factors To Consider:
- CMAT 2026 exam centres will be assigned to candidates based on the availability of seats.
- In the event of an emergency, the NTA has the authority to change or cancel a test centre.
- The test city selection can only be altered during form correction.
- Candidates cannot request a change of the exam test city or centre later.

CMAT City Intimation Slip
The NTA will release the CMAT 2026 city intimation slip 4-5 days before the exam date to tell candidates about the city to which they have been assigned a CMAT test centre in 2026. The following is the procedure for checking the CMAT 2026 city intimation slip:
Step 1: Visit the CMAT 2026 website: https://exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT/.
Step 2: Click on the 'city intimation' link.
Step 3: Enter the CMAT 2026 application number and password.
Step 4: The City intimation slip will open.
Step 5: Check your test city and download it!
Documents Required at the CMAT Exam Centre
Aside from the CMAT 2026 admission card, candidates must bring a valid ID evidence and other documents such as a Scribe Certificate and a PwD Certificate. The following is a list of ID proofs that applicants can bring to the CMAT exam centre:
- One passport-sized photograph (same as uploaded with the CMAT application form).
