CMA Direct Entry Eligibility 2025 Criteria, Documents Required

CMA Direct Entry Eligibility 2025 contains criteria that offer students admission directly into the CMA Intermediate level. Students with 12th-class degrees from a recognised board can also be eligible for CMA direct entry.

Generally, to be eligible for the CMA Intermediate level exam, one has to pass the CMA Foundation level exam. However, if a student fulfills the CMA Intermediate direct entry eligibility criteria, in that case, they can be eligible for CMA Inter direct entry, also known as CMA Intermediate direct admission.

CMA Direct Entry Eligibility 2025

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India has introduced certain eligibility criteria for students who wish to get admission through CMA direct entry for the Intermediate level. Candidates can refer to the CMA Direct Entry Eligibility 2025 from the list below.

Note: Any ONE of the following CMA direct entry eligibility 2025 is required.

1. Class 12th degree from a recognized board.
2. Honors degree from a recognized university.
3. A master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Management or any recognized university.
4. An Engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Science or Indian Institute of Technology, or any recognized university.
5. Completion of CMA Foundation level from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
6. A certificate for Entry Level Part 1 and Competency Level Part 2.
7. Qualification degree for Foundation Course Examination conducted by Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
8. Intermediate examination degree from Chartered Accountants of India.

CMA Inter Direct Entry: Overview

It is to be noted that there are three levels in CMA exam, Foundation, Intermediate, and Final.  Direct entry does not apply for the CMA Final exam, and one has to pass the Intermediate level exam to be eligible for the final exam.

Students willing to get admission into CMA Intermediate through direct admission can apply online if they meet any of CMA inter direct entry eligibility criteria.

1. Photocopy of Matriculation Certificate (Self-attested)
2. 3 Passport size photographs

4. Photocopy of Last Qualification or 12th Class degree (self-attested)
