Chandigarh University is the youngest Asian university to break into QS Asia rankings for imparting quality education.
Chandigarh University has accomplished numerous milestones and earned rankings from top national and international organizations for imparting quality modern education. The university has now advanced to the international level with QS-IGAUGE’s Diamond Rating in all primary categories. CU has been titled Asia’s fastest-growing university by WCRC as it has become the youngest Asian university to break into QS Asia Universities rankings. The institute has been ranked number 271-280 overall amongst all universities in the continent under the latest QS Asia Region University Rankings 2022.
Countrywise, CU has been ranked among the Top 10 Private Universities in India. The institute has been ranked number 86 on employer reputation, number 214 on academic reputation, number 223 on international students, number 230 on international faculty and number 233 on inbound & outbound student exchange.
Furthermore, Chandigarh University’s first-ever entry into QS Asia rankings is significant on many fronts. The university rank number 271-280 out of the 15812 universities in Asia, making it the top 1.7% of Asian Universities. In addition, CU’s categorical ranking is also amongst the top institutions. The university is ranked amongst the top 1.3% of Asian Universities in academic reputation while in employer reputation, international faculty and international, it has been ranked amongst the top 1%, 1.5% and 1.5% of Asian universities, respectively.
Moving forward, apart from being the youngest Indian university to break into QS Asia Universities Rankings, CU has also made the best debut of Private Universities of India in QS Asia Universities Rankings, after Amity University in 2019. Also, the university is 6th amongst the Private Universities of India to have featured in QS Asia Rankings based on 2021 Rankings. Apart from it, the institute has achieved the 1st rank in employer reputation amongst the Top Private Universities of India. The university after having improved its rankings under different national surveys by different regulatory bodies such as the NIRF has made another significant advancement in the higher education sector.
