• Step 1: Students must first visit their respective schools/colleges.
• Step 2:  Then, request the application form for the migration certificate from the school or college administrators.
• Step 3: Subsequently, pay the registration fee and submit the documents - Intermediate/Matric registration information, course name as Arts, Science, or Commerce, annual exam hall ticket xerox copy, mark sheet xerox copy, residence certificate.
• Step 4: Now, the Principal of the college/school will forward the application form for the Bihar board migration certificate 2026 to BSEB.
• Step 5: Within 30 days, the migration certificate from the Bihar board will be delivered to the respective schools/colleges.
• Step 6: Students can collect their migration certificates from the Bihar board from their schools/colleges.

Passing Criteria of Bihar Board 12th Exam 2026

The updated Bihar Board 12th Exam Pattern 2026 has 50% multiple-choice (MCQ) questions and 50% short- and long-answer questions. Since the marks obtained in all units are combined, students are not required to pass in each unit separately.

• The minimum aggregate must be 33%, and the minimum qualifying marks will be 33 in each subject.
