Various competitions were organized on the occasion of National Pharmacy Week as a part of the IPA General Championship.
Pune: IPA Pune Award Distribution and National Pharmacy Week was organized by Indian Pharmaceutical Association Pune Branch. Director of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Dr. MD Burande was awarded this year's IPA Pune Lifetime Achievement Award—also, Founder Director of Everest Pharma Shri. Gopal Verma was felicitated with IPA Pune's Pharmacist Friend Award.
Meanwhile, various competitions were organized on the occasion of National Pharmacy Week. The winning teams and participating contestants were felicitated with certificates.
Putting a light on the completion won by AISSMS COP, PUNE is as follows: for Ideathon UG. category, Tanmaya Vyas and Jyoti Kupate won the runner-up prize, in the Patient counseling U.G category, Jayesh Avad, Rohan Londhe, Deepak Choudhary, Prachi Divate and Anand Dhumal Bagging Runner-ups title.
Next was the poster presentation P.G category wherein Payal Kaitkar and Ritest Khairnar won the runner-up title, then, Amey Gavaskar and Tanmaya Vyas from the U.G category achieved the Runner-ups title in the quiz Competition. Coming to the Debate Competition, the runners-ups from both UG and PG categories were Purva Kalel and Sushrut Oza respectively.
Keeping the spirits high in the game the students of AISSMS bagged a runner ups title in the Oral presentation PG category by Swapnil Lad. Next, Aditya Sathbai and Vaibhavi Mulley achieved the title of winner in the Group Discussion Competition UG category. Later on the same day, AISSMS COP conducted the interview skill competition wherein Jyoti Kumari bagged the winner's title for the same in the UG category.
ACE Society Institute of Pharmacy, Pune won the general championship competition in the diploma category. At the same time, Jaywant Institute of Pharmacy Tathwade and Abhinav Education Society's College of Pharmacy, Narhe jointly bagged the second position. General Championship Tournament in Degree Group was ranked first by AISSMS College of Pharmacy, Pune, Sinhagad College of Pharmacy won the second position. Bharti Vidyapeeth Poona College of Pharmacy, Pune won the postgraduate category. and AISSMS College of Pharmacy, Pune was runner-up.
During the prize distribution ceremony of the competition, former president of the Pharmacy Council of India Dr. Chandrakat Kokate, Chairman, Suryadatta Group of Institutes, Pune. Sanjay B. Dr. Chordia, President of IPA Pune. Dr. Chandrakant Kokre, Vice President, IPA Pune. Dr. Chandrasekhar Bambade, Secretary of IPA Pune. L. Satyanarayanan was present.
NPW Coordinator Dr. Babita Aggarwal and Mrs. Priyanka Kandare, Co-Coordinator NPW moderated the program. Dr. Shashikant V Bhandari and Mr.Jitendra Gajbe the Co-Ordinator-of college coordinated all these activities and carried out the responsibility of this program. The event was supported by Dr.Ashwini Madgulkar, Principal AISSMS College of Pharmacy under Shri Malojiraje Chhatrapati Hon. Secretary of AISSM Society, Pune.
