TOSS SSC and Inter Application 2021 (Registrations Open)

Latest update - Telangana Open School Society application forms are out.

Board examinations of Telangana Open School Society (TOSS) are conducted twice every year in the months of April/May and October/ November. The board has published registration links on the official website and the deadline is 5th January 2021 with no late fee. There is also an extension from 6th January 2021 to 15th January 2021. Dates for the exams are decided by the open school board and the candidates are notified about it through the official website –

The first exam for every academic year is conducted in April/May. Registration is mandatory for appearing in the public examination. Candidates must register for the exams through "the Mee Seva portal" by paying the examination fee. They should submit the fee receipt for TOSS SSC and Inter registration as per the time schedule given by Telangana open school society. Any doubts regarding the registration process should be cleared through respective Accredited Institutes.

Payment of the registration fee is one of the most important stages of the registration process. There is an option to register by paying the examination fee along with the consolidated late fee of Rs. 500/- for SSC and Rs.1000/- for Intermediate.

TOSS SSC and Inter Admission 2021

  1. Candidates should collect the prospectus and application form free of cost from the Accredited Institute (Study Centre).

  2. Go through the prospectus carefully. If the candidate satisfies all the eligibility criteria for all aspects, fill in two sets of the application form (original and duplicate).

  3. After inspecting the application thoroughly, the AI Coordinator shall attest the application form with signature and stamp.

  4. Pay the requisite application fee amount at the AI center.

  5. Take a xerox copy of the application form to the ‘Mee Seva’ center and pay the registration admission fee.

  6. Upload the online application form from the center. 

  7. Obtain the printout copy of the registered application form along with the fee receipt. Keep it for future reference.


For utilizing Mee Seva, candidates will have to pay Rs. 25/- as user charges apart from the admission fees.

Eligibility Criteria for TOSS

A candidate should have any one of the following certificates in order to be eligible for enrolling in the courses under.


  • Birth certificate issued by the municipal office.
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) if the candidate discontinued school education.
  • A candidate should have completed 14 years


  • Candidate should have passed SSC or equivalent.
  • To complete the Intermediate in one year, there should be one year gap after SSC/10th.

Improvement of Performance

Telangana open school board allows you to apply for the appeared subjects again which the candidate has already passed. This scheme is known as improvement of performance but it can be done only once within the period of registration. If a candidate passes all the subjects and completes the SSC/Intermediate course, the improvement chance will not be allowed. 

Candidate has to cancel his previous performance and appear for all the subjects again from scratch to improve the performance. The latest performance will be considered while issuing the marksheets. One has to apply for improvement exam in the same manner as appearing for the first examination by paying the registration fee of Rs. 100/- for SSC and Rs. 150/- for Intermediate. 

Performance improvement chance can be availed only once in five years from the time of admission. Practical examination fee has to be paid for the subjects having practical evaluations. For the subjects involving practical, candidate will have to appear in both theory and practical for performance improvement. The candidate has to obtain a minimum of 35% marks separately in both theory and practical exams to pass the same.
