UPSC holds CAPF to select Group A officers for the position of Assistant Commandant, which would be assigned in seven Police organisations across India.

Candidate must meet the educational qualification, nationality, physical and medical eligibility, and must also be 20-25 years old to appear in CAPF Exam.

CAPF provides different age relaxation to reservation categories like ST/SC, OBC, and PWD. Students can apply for the CAPF exam until they reach the maximum age limit.

Candidates must have an NCC "B" or "C" certificate to be considered. The interview and personality test, it will be taken into account.

For applying to CAPF Candidates must be a citizen of India. Apart from this, applicant from Nepal or Bhutan can also apply for CAPF.

A male candidate must minimum 165 cm height and 50 kg weight. A female candidate must have 157 cm height and 46 kg weight.
