JEE Main 2023 exam for the Jan session is scheduled to be conducted on Jan 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31, and Feb 1, 2023. NTA has released the exam day guidelines and admit cards, which must be followed by all students appearing for the exam.

NTA has established strict guidelines for JEE Main Jan 2023 regarding the dress code that must be followed by the candidates appearing for the exam. If any candidate is found breaking the dress code while frisking, they will not be allowed to appear for the entrance exam.

What to Wear for JEE Main?
The key to adhering to the JEE Main dress code is to keep it as basic as possible. Loose clothing is acceptable as long as they are appropriate for the setting. The colours must be relatively muted, natural colours rather than bright ones. Sandals and slippers are the only acceptable footwear without socks.

JEE Main Dress Code for Female Candidates
Avoid wearing scarves, dupattas, or stoles and clothing with excessive frills, drapes, or layers are unacceptable. Wearing expensive jewellery is not permitted. The hairdo should be simple, and no boots, heels, or footwear with embellishments are permitted.

JEE Main Dress Code for Male Candidates
Put on basic t-shirts or tees. Graphic t-shirts and cargo pants are not allowed. Candidates must refrain from wearing hooded shirts and t-shirts. Sunglasses, ornate finger rings, and bracelets are not acceptable. Mufflers, ties, and suits are also not permitted.
