Petition to Postpone JEE Main 2023 Exam Date

A petition was submitted to the Bombay High Court to postpone JEE Main 2023 exam dates as it clashed with the CBSE pre-board 2023 dates. The argument regarding the case was that there is no time for preparation since the exam dates were announced on short notice.

The Bombay High Court, however, rejected the request to delay the JEE Main 2023 exam dates, citing that "any judgements given to postpone may have a cascading effect."

Next Hearing

In addition, petitioner activist Anubha Srivastava Sahai has submitted a response and argued in favour of the JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria. The next hearing regarding the easing of the eligibility criteria will thus take place at the Bombay High Court on Feb 21, 2023.

JEE Main 2023 Important Dates

The last date for the candidates to submit JEE Main 2023 application form is Jan 12, 2023, by 9 PM, and the application fee payment must be done by 11:50 PM, same date. JEE Main 2023 exam is scheduled to be conducted on Jan 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2023.
