CAT 2022 Paper Analysis: Check Expert's Reactions

CAT 2022 was conducted successfully in three slots on November 27, 2022. Check out the paper analysis and the expert's reactions.
Slot 1: VARC Analysis
Easy to moderate difficulty level, 3 non-MCQ questions, the inclusion of para completion and removal of the odd-sentence-out questions.

Slot 1: DILR Analysis
More challenging than the previous year's paper. A total of 6 non-MCQ questions were present. Roughly 8-10 questions could be answered easily.

Slot 1: QA Analysis
The arithmetic portion dominated the section, and there were 8 non-MCQ questions. As per the experts, the QA section was easy to moderate.

Slot 2: VARC Analysis
In terms of difficulty, it was easy to moderate. There were 4 passages and 6 non-MCQ questions. Attempting 11-14 questions is ideal.

Slot 2: DILR Analysis
Experts opine that this section was challenging. Again, 6 questions were non-MCQs. Moreover, 2 DI sets were easy to solve.

Slot 2: QA Analysis
It was identical to the last 5 year's pattern. There were more arithmetic questions followed by the Algebra portion and 8 non-MCQ problems.

Slot 3: VARC Analysis
Easier compared to the VARC section of the other 2 slots. Experts say that 2 passages were easy to read, 1 was challenging, and 1 was moderately difficult.

Slot 3: DILR Analysis
More challenging than the slot 1 & 2 DILR sections. Candidates again witnessed 6 non-MCQ questions, and 1 set of questions could be solved easily.

Slot 3: QA Analysis
QA in slot 3 was difficult compared to other slots. There were 8 non-MCQs, and Arithmetic & Algebra continued to dominate the section.
