The number of scholarships awarded has now risen to approximately 20 per academic year. Till date, A total of 428 scholarships have been awarded, of which 40 have been awarded to students from countries other than India. First 6 scholarships were given in the year 1991-1992. The scholarship is offered in all subjects except for medicine.
