The PCRC department of KIT brings many companies for a paid internship. Depending on the company, internship payment varies from INR 10,000 to 20,000. Placements in KIT are outstanding. Many good companies like Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Genpact, etc. takes KIT students every year. The average salary ranges between INR 6 to 8 LPA while my batch's highest salary was INR 12 LPA.

The alumni network in KIT is very strong, which are helping students in every aspect.

KIT college and hostel campus is entirely WiFI enabled. Lecture halls have AC and projectors installed. The computer center is big with the latest softwares installed on PCs. The library is also big, containing versatile books.

Girls & boy's hostels and messes are separate. The canteen is good.

KIT takes admission through entrance exams like UPSEE, or direct admission through management quota. The admission procedure is fairly simple. The aspirant must have done 12th with atleast 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). The compulsory subjects are physics and maths for B.Tech admission.

The class timing is from 9 am to 5 pm. The faculties of KIT are highly qualified and experienced. The teaching methodology is so good that even the hardest subject becomes the students' favorite and strong subject. Faculties are very dedicated, and they attend the queries even after the college timings.

Skill development cell provides proper training and industrial exposure for making students job-ready. With very good teaching and an outstanding placement record, my overall experience with KIT is awesome.

Many scholarships are available for meritorious students as well as for other students like Management scholarship, Topper award, University merit holder award, Tuition fee wavier, best of the best award, etc. Also, government scholarships are available like PM special scholorship schemes, Pragati scholarships for girls, and Shaksham scholorship for differentially abled students. Student loans can also be availed easily through banks.

Various departmental societies are there like Cybersristi society for CS students, Yantrikians in the Mechanical department, Electroglint in ECE Departments, GenKIt in the electrical and electronics department, etc. Cultural club and literacy clubs are there in KIT.

Many Techfests and campus events are held around the year like Swasti, Udbhav, Engenious Day, Sports week, etc.

With good friends and best academics, campus life is fabulous.
