Placements and Internships
- Having a campus in such a great location plus the brand value of the university does attract ample students to apply for and finally getting the cream out of it on the campus makes companies visit the campus. So overall placement chances are good here those who are interested in campus hiring.
- During my course, there is an industrial training program, and our institute has MOUs signed with top-class MN Hospitals that give exposure.
- I got placed as a senior analyst with a handsome salary package.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are department libraries in each block and one central library.
- The infrastructure of our college is quite good.
- In the hostel and library, the Wi-Fi facilities are available.
- The hostels are quite good with good mess food. I will suggest you take LC hostels since they are much spacious than other hostels. There are no restrictions for boys, but girls need to enter their hostel gates before 7 pm.
- There is a free ambulance facility 24x7.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria were 10+2 with at least 50% of marks. And to take admission in any UG/PG programs, candidates need to clear CUCET, which is a university-level exam conducted only in the online mode.
- I gave the CUCET (Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test). This university- level entrance exam also provides 100% scholarship to the students who score 95% or above marks.
- During my admission, the cut off was 85% marks.
Academics and Faculty
- When it comes to academics for HMCT, Chandigarh University, makes their effort at their best to make the student get with the syllabus. The major advantage is they provide syllabus as per guidelines with some additional courses like personality development, human values, ethics, and many more, which helps students to gain confidence while facing an interview.
- The institute use both modern as well as traditional methods of teaching because this is totally a student-friendly institute.
- Overall experience in such instate was marvelous, and I learnt a lot from CU; it’s about academics and personal & professional skills.
Fees and Scholarships
- Chandigarh University, [CU] Chandigarh Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 1.15 Lakh per annum.
- Scholarships are available for the students based upon student's academic performance, economic consideration, and sports records.
- Approximately 30% of students get awarded with different scholarship schemes.
- Even the loan facility is also available for students, but it depends upon some conditions.
